Election results

Looking at how the individual counties voted in the election brings me to the following conclusion due to the fact that the majority of counties with major cities in "red" states are actually "blue." If you click on the individual states, you can see how the counties voted. The majority of people in major cities voted for Obama. This may be a stretch, but because they have more access to information, more diversity of people and live in more modern surroundings, they are more open minded, more knowledgable about the world, and better informed about current events. Therefore, being more intelligent and open minded, they voted for Obama. That's my take.
